Non-Steam Purchase, how to write review?

I love the Crew, I have over 500 hours in it and I intend to play another 500 before moving on to the Crew 2. (I'll upgrade my PC and hopefully tC2 will get more content and become more stable by that time)

The Crew has Mixed reviews on Steam and this really bugs me because I enjoy it so much. So I want to write a review.

When I'm browsing the reviews, there is an option "Purchase Type" which has "All", "Steam Purchasers" and "Others" options so I believe one can write a review even if they haven't purchased it on Steam. I got it from UPlay. I know the rating of the game on Steam won't be affected by people who haven't bought it on Steam but I still want to write a review.

How do I do it? The option to recommend/not recommend and write a review that shows up for games you purchased on Steam doesn't show up on the Crew steam page.

You can not review a game you do not own on Steam. The "not purchased on steam" review filter is for people who bought the game from other distributors or recieved the game for reviewing purposes or any other steam activation of the game purchased outside of steam.
