Services Shutting Down?

With the release of The Crew 2, will servers and services for The Crew be shutting down?

If they do, i hope they make the game offline playable like test drive unlimited 1 and 2. but i don't think they plan too.

It is difficult when a great game gets overpassed by its own son, especially if many people share love with that creation for so long that they get used to it.

Changing is necessary, but when? How can we understand the improvment when the eldest seems perfect it's own way? It's hard to believe thata a miracle can happen twice, but i have faith over Ubi team and i'm anxious for the new one!

The Sims features of TDU2 was pretty cool, it's a shame that the game only had that to offer.

Test drive unlimited 1 and 2 are my favorite racing games. ever, i play them daily. The Crew is my 3rd favorite game. If the crew had character creation/customization like test drive, i will put the crew at #1.

I want to play The Crew 2, but frankly my faith in game developers ability to deliver a good game these days has become very limited. I want to make sure a game I know is fun to play would still be available for a while if the new one sucks.

I hate to have that outlook, but with the recent releases from Ubisoft, I'd rather wait until the game goes down to like $30 before I make an investment, even if it is popular among the masses. I don't trust other people now adays.

Jon, i hear you. But the crew is amazing and i think part 2 will be also. Not sure why people seem to dislike UBI soft games, i never had a problem with them. But that's just me.

I feel like a lot of game developers tend to go the route that Call of Duty did after Modern Warfare 2 came out: they see that they create a product people really like, and they cash grab it to death until the community around the game is cancer.

I'm afraid other games will turn out the same way.

Dont buy in the last jears Ubisoft ruins all the Products i Playd (Steep, The Crew). The Crew was cool bevore that "Balance" Patch (all cars in a class, Circuit, Performance, Street. Offroad, Raid, one Speed) and the Patch long ago that changes how driving feels, short bevore or after the Call all Units DLC. Playd The Crew nearby every day bevore and buyd blind all DLCs, Cars etc...i never understud Ubisoft realy.

Ubisoft makes Gold to crap and i dont a hater from Ubisoft, maybe a bit after THE CREW disaster. The Steep was cool in the Closed Beta too but later mah.
