How to mute Voice Chat?
I hate playing chases when I hear some ♥♥♥♥ yelling and screaming. I can't even mute, without turning my volume off.

Yeah I've done that man, I still hear people. It's so annoying. Like I wanna play with my speakers out loud. But I hear all these kids and guys screaming and ♥♥♥♥.

You can try to activate and untick "Automatically join voice chat..." or however the setting is called in English, actually the first one below the activation.
Then I disabled it again and for the moment it works fine.. but you never know about Uplay

Haha, yes it sadly is. Always new problems coming up once something is fixed. And everyone has different bugs, such a mess xD

Select your player card while in the race then select DISABLE VOICECHAT, its a hassle, everytime a chase beggins it is AUTOENABLED, lots of complaints on the Ubi Forums, hope they fix this ASAP so the game REMEMBERS that u dont want voice chat until you enable it again, it only happens on the chases, it a bug or unwanted function, they already know about it. cheers

thanks for the reply mate.
The fact is, I can't even disable voicechat, there isn't a option for it. That's why I'm so confused.

You only see that option when you are in a PvP lobby. Since CAU, PvP lobbies are considered when you either launch the actual PvP lobby (yellow diamonds on the map), or initiate a Crate Mission.

The actual PvP lobbies have voice disabled by default, Crate Missions have voice enabled by default.

As such, you must bring up your Friend/Crew/Session list, select your name, and choose "Disable Voice Chat", which is between "Driver ID", and "Ubisoft Club".

Here, I'll even add a picture to help you out: http://i.imgur.com/R1eAqdQ.png

All I have is Driver ID and Ubisoft Club. No Disable Voice Chat. Which I find rather odd.
