PC Driving Games with Wheel & Pedals Attached to Desk with *FPS interests. *(First Person Shooter)

I hope any SERIOUS DRIVING gamer bothers to buy and use a "state of the art" wheel and pedals set, or at least a working wheel with software allowing as I do.. (have 2 old wheels in boxes not working with Windows 10)

You CAN keep your Wheel Mounted and still play FPS games.

Keyboard use is for dilettantes testing or Consol controllers (UGH....brings me back to '89 with Nintento cartridges crate of games! Goofy) .... I am using an old Driving Force GT which works in Windows 10.

I have found that The Crew is a great driving game to play with my 10 yr old, switching play back & forth.. mostly watching him and coaching too much. I get him off his smartphone, Simpsons & airsoft to be with me with this game. I love Driving, Flying (Hotas Cougar-Thrustmaster pedals baby!) & mostly WWII First Person Shooter Games with over 325 games in my groomed arcade collection the last 20 yrs.

I know the headache of having to MOUNT your wheel to the desk and getting back into Driving games with all the Software bugs from being so long to drive. And when you invite your pals or maybe a Russian vodka pal.. haha. .or your mom or kids to teach them to drive in the sim ..they CAN tend to pull the wheel off the desk freaking out during the game!

The normal attachment to a desk for a wheel sim is always weak.

My solution is: Buy Scotch Extreme Fasteners type Super Velcro tape. Cut a longest possible Strip for the Front part deepest into desk and prep and dry desk and Wheel underside with alcohol with a micro fiber. Lock in your Extreme by pounding down and tighten up your wheel screws. This will hold during crazy driving passions.

I also put the Scotch Extreme Tape on the bottom of my Pedals to help stop the sliding around.

I have also found that the ideal computer desk for me is a large CORNER Desk you can buy... I got one in the '90s. Endless nooks and crannies and space for all.

Key Point for First Person Shooter Gamers that love Driving Games is that you CAN still have the WHEEL mounted and touching your belly and just reach over and play KEYBOARD FPS games.
I use the old classic Z Board Keyboard myself with WIDE Control keys instead of tight normal keyboard ...UGH ..setup you all use.

The Crew is Genius as I have been thinking about a game like this for years covering the entire United States in miniature aspect ..love the thing.. taking a lot of time to understand all the aspects. I just learned NOT to F3 cancel as it greys out later... ha ha.

I support and validate the tremendous effort and genius in making all these gaming works of fine art and I collect them as works of fine art. I have been playing DOD and DOD source and RO2 and many games online and they still work. When I see weird put downs going on I tend to suspect COMPETITION trying to knock out and advance THEIR NEW GAME from another company. Obvious financial interests here.
