Where is the game's save file located?

I would like to create a save game backup file at least once a day to archive the progress (I am OCD with things like that), but unlike other games, there isn't a save file to be found.

Is this intentional to enforce a hardcore experience?

Go to " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\5301462\241540\local ". You want to save " Class3.0.ulsave ".

for some reason I found mine in " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\84242455\241540\local " and I just backed up the entire "local" file for good measure.

thats because the 5301462 + 85242455 are your user id's :) but thanks for the info on the folder, 241540 is the app id btw

Just to know copyng that folder aint gonna help you.If you reinstall windows or game and cpoy folder again you will see moast of the heroes on breakdown missing and the stats of challenges will be buged.

will it help if i do not reinstall anything and my character dies, that is what i am doing it for incase anybody dies

You need to maintain the UserStats-DLC.cfg file as well to save your Hero unlocks and Level progression.
