Crash Dump Error when starting?

Whenever i click play it comes up with
Crash Dump Error' Saved dump file to 'c:\Programs Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\State of Decay/USER_BRADLEY-PC_2015-04-18_20-45.dmp'

What do i do to fix this? its only started happening recently and i dont have an mods or anything just normal Start of Decay but i can't even get into the game cause it comes up with that. Any help please?

on steam in library right click on the game+Properties+Local Files and selected VERIFY INTEGRETY OF GAME CACHE
Sometimes files disappear or are corrupted.In this case the necessary files will download.

This can be caused by quitting the game before the second save completes on the exit screen, if it happens again you can try loading up a saved game from either the story or one of the DLC versions depending on what you are playing at the time then going back to that save it normally works then.

Mine is doing the same thing. Have verified the files, uninstalled and removed all local files then reinstalled. Was modded before (recently installed nexus mod manager because mods weren't working properly and wanted to make sure wasn't user error). Still doing now that all mods and nexus mod manager have been removed.

Removing the mods don't always remove all the files, the best thing to do is just uninstall the game, go into the directory & delete anything left over & then reinstall fresh, that should fix it, if you can get in game another thing you can try is just start a new game in a new profile, then go back to your old one.

Chris, I have done this...Both starting a new game under a new profile and completely deleting everything. It doesn't do it every time, but when it does, It closes the game and I have to reopen it.

I have reported it as a bug

got same problem, tried reinstalling and verify, deleting game folder on steamapps/common and nothing, i cant start game ,might try deleting saved games and hope it works.

Updated: managed to fix it looking at https://forums.undeadlabs.com/threads/are-you-crashing-on-pc.44403/ in my case the problem was oc guru

I've had this issue with two separate computers but i have been able to solve it (after hours of trail and error) by going into the game files, finding the file that launches the game then right clicking it and going into properties. go into the Compatibility tab then ticking the "Disable full-screen optimisations". Hope this works for any of you guys!
