Command codes for reviving/going back to earlier save.

So yesterday, I made a post because I was frustrated a bug caused me to have my truck flip over from nothing and get my character killed and the mission failed. Is there a way to go back to an earlier save or a cheat code to get my guy back?

Try this: State of Decay Save Manager[sodsavemanager.codeplex.com].

Copies the autosaves on a preset schedule so that you can go back in time later if things don't go well.

No, sorry.

the normal game only has 1 save, there aren't any "earlier" saves. You either have to manually back up your saves, or use the save manager noted above. The game has 1 save spot for the story mission, and for each DLC. (so 3 save spots in the save folder).

If you want to manually backup your saves then find the folder and copy the files when you want to "manually" save.

That's fine. Thing is bugged all kinds of up but hopefully they have something good on the way.

It's implemented that way for a reason, the permadeath is a big part of it. You can force a save at almost any time, storyline missions being the exception. You can alt f4 out of the game if you're quick enough when you die. There won't be any change to the save system(especially as this base version of the game won't be getting any patches at all), and I honestly doubt there will be in the yose version either.

I've restarted on the Yose version and completed it, but holy crappers that final horde kicked my ass...xD

You can rightclick on your Steam\userdata\abunchofnumbers\241540 folder and go to 'restore previous versions' tab. Revert it to an earlier date and 'today never happened'. I, persoanlly, backed up my saves manually.
