The Forgotten Place

I couldn't find anything here or anywhere else on the internet about "The Forgotten Place" and how to solve it's secret (if there is any, the statue in there said there would be). It can be found on the way to the master cave right after you walk past the now lowered stumps that blocked your way before you got the fire sword at the place where there's a sign that says that it's a meaningless secret sign. If you walk into the trees to the right and go up and down a bit you enter the forgotten place. If anyone finds out how to beat it or if there's just nothing there please let me know.

Also I'm having trouble with the room where it says after the end boss fight that there's three ways to get into it. I'm trying to enter from the left where you have 2 bombs and need to bomb a block to get to a bombable wall, but you need the bomb to be able to push the ice block onto one of the three switches to unlock the second bomb.

Never mind the second part, I was just being dumb... Still, what's up with The Forgotten Place? Anybody found anything out?

I dont know what this forgotten place is but i've gotten all of the cards, Paper and extras so it cant be from those catergories

You get into it by going here[www.abload.de] where you get to the master cave, then immediately go up here[www.abload.de] to the supposedly meaningless secret sign area and then veer off right and do kinda up and down zig zag right here[www.abload.de] then you are there. It's just a bunch of empty rooms and two ghosts pretty much but the statues said something about solving a riddle but I can't figure out what they want with me...

im stuck there too, i finished the game 100% 3 weeks ago lol but i still cant figure whats with that forgoten place...

I had no idea that place existed in the first place! And frankly I just can't figure anything either. Unless there are invisible things or the cave changes as you progress in the game (I started a new game to check this out) I don't know what coul possibly be done inside it.

PS: just googled it and it turns out the layout for the cave is identical to the layout of the first dungeon of the first The Legend of Zelda game.

It's just an easter egg - the statue you find here is talking about Itan Carver (I'm updating the text to clarify this for next release), but also in a meta sense, about us who designed the game and what we enjoyed about the very first Zelda games.

Until now I was the only one on the team who knew this existed, so good job finding it. :)
