Breathedge 2

Breathedge 2

No license
Fan of the original Breathedge here. I installed the Demo last night and tried for half an hour just to see if it's running fine on my PC. Left it so that I can play it today.

Today, I open it, and it says "No License". What in the World is going on here? Anyway to fix or bypass this?

If you have game installed, you should never try to open it through .exe without steam

How can a demo be constructed keeping in mind that the player is going to finish the demo in one single sitting? When did the industry decide this concept?

And then they complain that people don't buy as many games anymore. I'm definitely not buying this game when it gets released.

It was planned to be available for one week during steam next fest, but they decided to give 2 more weeks. And you still have game installed. Devs will not complain if you will not buy it :)

Does it mean I installed the demo the day before it was about to be removed/blocked?
But all I'm saying is Demo used to be limited not in terms of how many hours you played before.

the demo wasn't that long... devs don't expect anything from you or how fast you should finish a demo. but yeah, you are just too late for it.

"used to be" really doesn't matter at all. times change. yeah back in the day devs patched games and added new stuff for free... now they sell patches for $10 (days gone...).

Basically yeah. Im not sure if you have the game wishlisted and are getting their notifications, but they advertised the demo almost a month in advance. The demo was specifically for the Steam Next Fest event only as a promotion, and to test the waters with a small sample size.

The demo was released on Feb 24, and only meant to last a week, but they extended it for 2 more weeks before finally ending the test.

Unfortunately you caught the very last end of the event. I suggest subscribing to their notifications so you can know the next time they do another test.

Okay. Now it makes sense. My fault/luck I guess. Very sad.
Log into the local path of the game and launch from there!
