Disable mouse smoothing....Change key bindings.....

Just bought the game.
Is there a definitive way to change key bindings? As in, which ini file is it, and where in the ini file?
Also...mouse movements seems sluggish. Not as all stuttery, (for me at least) but kinda slow, as though mouse smoothing is on. Even seems like there is some mouse acceleration at work. Is there a way to turn it off?

lol.. well it's a little late now... but hopefully it's useful if someone else has the same problem. go to 'documents/mygames/sherlock holmes - crimes and punishments/sh7game/config Then edit the sh7input.ini
on the 8th line down you'll see "bEnableMouseSmoothing=true" change it to false and save

That alone didn't fix it. However there are smoothing commands in those ini files that- with some tinckering, have improved mouse camera control.

RotationSmoothingFactor_ThirdPerson=60
RotationSmoothingFactor_FirstPerson=90
RotationSmoothingFactorGamepad_ThirdPerson=60
RotationSmoothingFactorGamepad_FirstPerson=90
PlayerDelayRotationSmoothingFactor=100
CameraDelayRotationSmoothingFactor=100

You can also change to higher values than 60/90. Go 100 if you want. I found the levels above sufficient.

Now if only I can figure out where to change movement lag... There's about 0.5 second response delay when using wasd movement keys.

Kinda lttp, but the game is on sale so I picked it up.

These combined tips totally resolved all mouse acceleration (*shudder*) issues.
