Game won't open mac
When I try to open the game my mac says The application "GettingOverIt" can't be opened and steam pops up with OS Error 4294956486 Failed to start process for getting over it with Bennet Foddy

Sorry to hear this - generally it means something got messed up in your game files. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

What mac are you using? Is it an Air, pro, imac, or just a macbook? Also, what version is your mac?

This can also be a conflict with antivirus software. Are you able to run other steam games?

if you're on a new m1 Mac some games require rosetta. first hover over the game in your library then right click, mange> Browse local files. now get info of the actual Getting Over It app (cmd+I). finally enable "open with rosetta" (if this is your first time using rosetta on your Mac you will be promoted to install rosetta). you should now be able to launch the game like any other in your library.
