What is the zone chiminage for? Plus question about restoring purchases
I guess I skipped the explanation. What benefits do I get of making offers to the barrows, cementary, woods, etc?

Also I think I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I bought the game in Steam (because of regional prices), restored purchase on my phone, and bought the DLC while playing because I wanted to join the Wardens, so I guess I got it from Apple instead (a bit more expensive but whatever…), will I have to buy it again on Steam if I want to play another character on PC or does the DLC sync from iOS to Steam? 😅

I don't remember exactly but it give you bonus, scenes and stuff,
Also, yes, always buy on Steam and restore on phone, that's the only retrocompatible way, you cannot restore purchases from phone to steam but yes from steam to phone, so Steam always first.

I can't help you with the sync problem... but to answer your question, restoring the zones grants you achievements, and in the case of Podge's zone, the name of the zone even changes. From "urban blight," to "slum," to "Rosemary Street.". I'm not sure but I think restoring the zones early on may even help you with the second half of the game? But don't sweat it -- even if you don't fully restore a zone and miss the achievement, there are no consequences later on in the game (your packmates mention this too, that you don't have to conduct chiminage for anything other than receiving Gifts if you don't want to).

Does it matter what kind of chiminage you donate? Because I donated an awful lot of WISDOM to the forest, but not sure if I need to do the other two as well?

Not that I've ever noticed. Feel free to perform chiminage for whatever you have the most extra on hand.
