Denuvo?
How long does Capcom keep Denuvo on their games on steam? It's been 5 months and Apollo Justice collection still doesn't have it removed.

Capcom usually keeps Denuvo for six months for re-releases of older games. I would expect to see it get removed by the end of July, if they keep following their usual pattern. As soon as that happens, I'll be buying it, same with this AAI compilation.

Cool. You can put up with phone-ins to a company who make it an active goal of theirs to make the end user get the worst possible experience over the fear of non-issues. People with a brain won't.
"Worst possible experience" bro I have to connect once per 3 months

I'm the guy who tested that theory, and others have confirmed it. You were out here spreading misinformation on the Ghost Trick discussions because you didn't know the difference between DRM and Anti-Cheat.

DRM can always be more end user friendly, of course. But really, so long as you maintain your emotional attachment to steam, you can't complain about genuinely unintrusive DRM in the games you """buy""".
Steam forums are a dangerous bed for misinformation to spread. (Especially when it comes to DRM with a lack of documentation, like how verifiable lies about Enigma were spread here last year)(obviously undocumented DRM is an issue, but misinformation is far worse.) The steam forums should be removed, because the last group of people that need a voice are steam users.
I found the clown who gave me jester awards for my enigma thread. ♥♥♥♥ you

What? I'm afraid you're utterly confused. I distinctly remember being the one who cleared the confusion between DAC and DAT in the Ghost Trick forums after you made several confidently wrong statements (also here). Even though I disagreed with you on some points I've defended you when you were attacked based on wrong premises - well, I kinda tried, until you started insulting me as well.

Now with that said, I've never seen you share any evidence confirming your claims on the three months time limit, nor have I seen others confirm it. The default setting for Denuvo Anti-tamper's offline token is two weeks but can be set to any length by the publisher.

Default settings do not apply when they're customized, you're the dude who said it was "literally malware" despite virus and malware scanners clearly saying otherwise. Being a binary doesn't mean it's not a wrapper, binary literally just means compiled. I'm not wrong here, you're just trying to throw shade at any way possible to anyone who doesn't lie about Denuvo.

You never tried to defend me, you outright were insulting me 24/7.

You're misquoting me now? Again, I never said that and never insulted you either. I said that "CAPCOM has a history of deceptively installing malware in their customers computers" which is true[www-journaldugeek-com.translate.goog] and does not even relate to Denuvo.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time but I'm now giving you a friendly warning that I will report you if you keep derailing this thread with your false accusations.

I'm not misquoting you at all, and the fact you got offended enough to threaten reporting me shows I'm right.

Also, funny you mention false accusations - your cited source is a false accusation. SFV's virus debacle was simply them attempting to ward off cheaters, they had no clue it was a rootkit. That was incompetence, not malicious intent.

Seems you have a bad habit to consistently attack anyone who doesn't agree with you. You should go take a walk or do something calming. This clearly isn't the place for you if you're getting this mad.

The fact they didn't know they were installing malware doesn't make it not malware. In any case It's malicious intent when you install it without your customer's consent or knowledge, which is addressed by the article.

On your accusation, claiming that defending myself proves I'm guilty is ridiculous: if you're not misquoting me then feel free to provide the original quote. If you think offending people proves you right then I'm afraid your moral compass might be in dire need of a review.

How do you conclude malicious intent by anything other than actual intent? Sounds like you gotta re-read the definition here buddy.

I'm not claiming that defending yourself makes you guilty. That's all your interpretation.

Why are you two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up this thread. Nobody here was invited to spread their thesis how denuvo is good or bad. I got my answer and that's that.

Neither me or anyone in these forums are gonna start a stink about their decisions to package bloatware like Denuvo, their decision, their products, their money to lose or gain.

Believe it or not, I joined this thread for the sole purpose of answering your question. Lukaself loves to inject himself into threads to personally insult people and derail threads.

If anyone's to blame, it's him.

Not at all, but I know you show up wherever he does. Show yourself out if you don't plan to contribute anything of value.

We have a lot of crossover interests. For example, we don't enjoy sycophancy towards corporate interest.
