Hi, I have a problem with my train simulator, the game crashes and freezes my entire PC with this message:

ERROR: Failed to create vertex buffer(D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)
FILE
: DxCommon\cHcVertexManagerDx.cpp

I keep having this error message come up quite a lot, this is what it says, ERROR: Failed to create vertex buffer (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL) FILE: DxCommon\cHcVertexManageDx.cpp LINE: 1235.
Dose anybody
know what this means and how to fix?.

Have you had recent updates to your graphics card??? Need system specs please.

When I use Task Manager to exit the frozen screen, it pops up a message box:

Error: Failed to create vertex buffer (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)

norton uninstalled did the deal twice 1st 1261 files failed next one all files validated it now works with the ts 2014 content but when i try ts 2015 content i get. error failed to create vertex

well i have the same on windows 10 as well

I used to get this error when running in 32 bit, 64 bit does not give this error. Try updating your graphics card. Usually that has been the cause of failed to create vertex buffer. Still running TS
2018? Has not been updated to TS2020? Be advised this may cause a new set of issues. Make a back up before updating.
