Hi there kevinbarton77. I think I need to clear up a few things here.
You are right TS2015 does have an Oculus Rift mode and can be used with the hardware however it was added as a development tool and is not officially supported as a feature so your experience may be a bit hit and miss. Think of it as a prototype feature rather than a finished fully supported one. Some things in the game will not work for example the menus and smoke effects.
The other important thing to note is that it only works with the first Oculus development kit - DK1. It will not work with the latest one.
To activate it you need to add -OculusRift to the Steam launch command for the game. Once in a scenario you then have to press alt+shift+O to turn it on.
Have fun.
- Martin
Wondering the same thing.
If DTG adds Vive support to 2018 even as a paid add-on I will throw my money in their faces and beg them to take it.
