Serious problem with TS2015 and Steam
It all began with an update of TS2015 that does not end because this is displayed: "Invalid configuration of the depot." I then try to reset the settings and files with the Steam executable command Steam: // flushconfig. Unfortunately, the problem remained. I do not conclude the update because it says that the configuration of the depot is not valid. All this happened after I did an integrity check of game cache. I used to play quietly in TS2015. Can you help? Thanks.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems Paino75. As you may have noticed Steam have been busy revamping the store system and they updated the Steam client about a month ago in preparation for this. Since then I have seen lots of players say that they are having problems download content and connecting to the Steam servers. This is effecting players across all games not just TS. We have brought these issues to Steam#s attention and have been passing on the reports of it I have seen in the forum. Steam have stated that they are working on a fix. In the meantime the best advice that I can give is that you contact Steam directly for some support. We have no control over the Steam servers or your account so I am limited in the support I can offer you.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but I am sure someone from the Steam support team can help you get back up and running. If I hear anything more about the issue I will be sure to let you and everyone else know.

If you are getting Invalid deopt config, Then this is what you do to fix it. First exit,
Steam, Steam must be off or it will not work.

Go to program files 86 steam then SteamApps open it then look down the list till you find { APPMANIFEST 24010 } and remove it to your desktop, then run steam and reinstall Train sim 2015. It will rediscover existing content and download the extra files needed so that's it back up and running. When you have got it fixed you can delete the file you put on your desktop. hope it works for you. Happy driving

I have to delete the file APPMANIFEST 24010 and then restart Steam? But then I have to also remove the game TS2015? I have many trains and routes downloaded from Steam and from third parties. It would be a huge job to remove the whole game and then reinstall it. I'd rather avoid having to download and delete everything and reinstall everything.

Delete APPMANIFEST 24010 when steam isn’t running or it won’t work.

You’re not deleting any of the games actual files, they would still be all there on your hard drive Steam would just have to scan your drive around for what files you already have, then download whatever files you are missing which takes a little while especially if you have a lot of DLC.

I had the same problem and it fixed it for me, although I did have a minor scare when after it rediscovered my game files it started downloading a “7.7GB update” and I was like OMG :/ but it finished it in under 10mins and my internet isn’t THAT fast it must have been more like 50mb.
