Game launches with faded colors and stuttering/pixelated intro
I installed an SSD into my dad's computer. After launching this game it is very faded and the intro video is pixelated and stuttering.

I tried lowering settings and even resolution to no effect.

I've rebooted several times as well.

All other dozen or so programs have no issues. Verified game cache through Steam.

Any other ideas?

I took a screenshot in-game at the exit menu. As you can see the options are all faded away.

Are you playing in fullscreen mode? If you are then have you checked the 'Brightness' in the TS settings menu?

Second Glenn's comment on TS's brightness setting. The one time I fiddled with that the picture looked just like yours. It should be called the bleaching setting.

As to the video I've installed TS on four machines over the last couple of years, only one of them ever managed to play an intro' properly and that was the one for TS2016. A few people appear to have been luckier but are now commenting that the new intro' sticks.

My father was up and playing it tjhis morning just fine. It turns out he fiddled with the brightness and set it back and works great.

But the intro video stutters and sound cuts outs really bad.

I installed a GTX 750 Ti a couple years or so ago. He also has an i3-3225 CPU iirc and 16GB RAM.

Just about everyone says similar about the intro video. Best to disable it in the settings
