yes.. nice
I've just done a 70 minute and an 85 minute run using two different routes in 64 bit and the game is running very smoothly. No lag or stuttering at all.
We're finding that, for some people, nvidia control panel is launching railworks64.exe with integrated graphics options. If you're experiencing very poor FPS in Train Simulator 2019 64-Bit, this may be the cause. We recommend you check your nvidia control panel settings.
Sorry, but I highly doubt that this is related to 'integrated (Intel) graphics'. Yes, that is an issue with ANY game, but fact is, while the 64-bit version might run smoother on many routes for many scenarios, the game will not suddenly run FASTER (create more FPS).
A PC that is optimally configured and ran TS20xx in 32-bit will find almost no FPS/frametime improvements.
You will get the same 15FPS in the first ICE scenario on the Frankfurt Highspeed Route. Equally, many scenarios and routes will behave the same.
A bigger field, does not make one horse run faster.
More System Memory Adress Space, does not make the game run in faster cycles. It just eliminates waiting time, if the memory flushing/updating slowed down the PC.
Only ONE of many more reasons for what happens between two drawcalls.
The framerate improvements are in the area where people can now max their graphics out, if they could not before. Especially, view distance, amount and complexity of objects does not drop the framerate/frametime to a crawl in some routes.
Turning off "Dynamic Lighting" is stil the ONE (almost) guaranteed way to improve framerates from 15 to 30-50-60+ ... but at the high cost of TS20xx looking like MSTS from 2000.
Sadly some users have and will find that Nvidia Control Panel has set the 64-Bit version of TS2019 to use their integrated graphics rather than their dedicated graphics card/chip as it does not recognise the new 64-Bit .exe. It will launch the 32-Bit version correctly however.
Surely the best way is to set the BIOS to disable Integrated Graphics and check in Device Manager that the discrete card is selected.
Enter BIOS Setup.
Go to Advanced Menu.
Go to Chipset Configuration Menu.
Go to Internal Graphics Menu.
Set the Internal Graphics Mode to Disable or choose PEG/PCI instead of Auto or IGFX. ...
If you also have a Multi Monitors option set this to disable. (optional)

Best.
