HELP - DLC NOT AVAILABLE DESPITE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL

Guys, im going mad here. Ive been using trainsim for a while now and recently noticed that my DLCs are not appearing in the same. Have over 50 routes and only 20 are showing despite me installing, re-installing, clearing registry, reinstalled steam and the game, etc... including clearing download cache

All my trains are there but only 20 routes. All my DLC show downloaded and installed but non appearing in the game under any format (free drive, career, etc)

Whats the issue?

yup....same issue... seems some games are not unapacking correctly

In steam go to Library, right click on "Train Simulator" then "View Downloadable Content" are the routes you say are missing ticked as "Installed"? In the Railworks folder click on Content then "Routes" are all the missing routes listed as well as the ones that you can see?

yeah installed and in the folder there are very long letters and numbers titles

Once you open TS 2019 which TAB is not showing the "missing" routes? Standard, Career, Free Roam, Quick Drive? Some routes have career ONLY scenarios and won't show up in the "Standard" tab for example and vice versa.!
In the Content/Routes folders - how many routes are there?
File Explorer will tell you how many routes you have in that folder.
Does this number MATCH the missing and NON-Missing routes added together?
Do you have or use RW_Tools?

I have validated my TS2019 files but under that heading 1370 files are not validated and also are not re-aquired. Dovetail seem unable to help. Does anyone have an answer? By the way I have this program installed on 2 computers and the results are exactly the same.

Are the routes displayed in your Profile tab in game menu?

Your not the only one with this problem, I, like you, am having the same problem, missing routes, go to quick drive and half my routes aren't showing, just like you but ! All fully installed when checking DLC Installed in Steam.

I've done all you mentioned with this same issue and then some it a problem for me in the 2020 version with several New York City and State lines please help!!

Just a sideways thought.

1. Have you tried looking under the in game Build Menu to see if they are listed? If your missing routes are listed, click on one of the "missing" routes and select edit then see what happens. If it all loads ok, then you need to start looking at scenario's not working.

Go back into the Build menu/Scenario's TAB, select one of the "missing" routes and see if it has any Scenario's. If it has, click on one and select 'edit' to see if it loads ok.

2. Have a look in the Manual folder, see if the manuals for the missing routes are there.

3. If all seems fine and dandy from 1+2, in the Qickdrive menu, select a Steam or Diesel loco before you try and select your route. Do your "missing" routes now show?

4. Last one, it shouldn't really matter as a Steam account should be across both PC's at one time, try logging out of Steam on one of the computers and firing up the other. Steam/Valve maybe mistaking one account on 2 computers as a hack. Might be worth a try, atleast you know then.

Hello I'm a TS2020 owner.
This is exactly what I'm going through a cheap $249.00 PC with integrated graphics being swapped for a $1000 with dedicated graphics has probably confused the folks at Steam and my 7 NYC dlc's are probably on the lower price swapped PC🙁 your answers seem fine but is there any other quicker alternatives?

I am also missing a route and trains that steam says I have installed. South London Network. I have posted on other pages so if I get info I will let you Know. Cheers.

I uninstalled and reinstalled from my manage DLC area in steam TS20 page by unticking, waiting and reticking. I now have South London Network content back. You say you have reinstalled so this probably isn't much help but I did say I'l let you know if I get any more information (and this worked for me).
I hope you get your issue sorted out.

Oh yeah everything is fine now basically there are other things that must be in place in conjunction to your download i.e: other routes or scenerios, I have ALL of the Tri-State area, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
It's funny you mention South London that's what I'm headed to "Thomas The Tank Engine Era" LOL!!

Hi everyone I've learned the problem. Incomplete purchases are due to not reading the bottom of your purchase it contains the requirements which is information needed to complete your purchase i.e Scenarios and other Routes.
