Hope this helps.
THANK YOU !!
It does work for all 4 scenarios, but with each scenario I have to do the F2 again.
Is there something in the trackbin file that I need to change?
And obviously I haven't a clue what a trackbin file is. If there is a way to open it up and change anything, I'd give it a try. But all in all I could live with F2.
Thanks Again
Rich
Yes I agree. If ya don't know what your doing, DON'T DO IT. But you won't learn that way either.
My key is to save everything that you want or work on and save it twice. One file on my had drive and one on my memory stick, per say 1TB SSD drive. And that definitely goes for Assets & Routes files, due to purchasing items from Steam.
When Steam downloads they up-date all your files. I've change loco sounds to my liking and fixed things that you pay an arm & a leg for. But I guess they don't have a good QC dept. You pay for route with lines hanging down things missing and also things that that you may add. All gone, due to a download.,if you haven't saved it.
To get off of my rambling, if there is a file that controls TrckBin or in TrackBin itself.
Please pass on your knowledge. It be helpful and a new learning curve for an old 67+ man to do.
Here in Indiana it's cold out side, not much to do. I'm retired and have the time to learn somthing.
Thank You
You can always re-download your original route(s). This won't change your newly-cloned route because you will have had to give it a different name.
I've had similar problems, but I must try the f2 trick! I wouldn't dream of trying to find the Trackbin files. That's getting into programming "tiger country".
Thanks for the info. I'll rember not to do that. The Route was the Cheyenne 1869 Extension. I had 4 Career Scenarios that came up with that trackbin problem. I deleted them and reloaded, still the samething.
My fix, RWtools, changed them into Standard Routes.. No problem now. And that F2 trick did work also.
