NVIDIA GeForce Experience won't install and keeps failing.
Strictly speaking not related to the game but I thought someone might has had the same issue and maybe managed to solve it.

I recently bought a NVIDIA 1080 graphics card and installed it with no hassle. The drivers all installed and there is a marked improvement for both TS2017 and TSW. The problem I am having is that I can't get GeForce Experience to install. I have tried all sorts of things reported to work. I have even tried installing older version of the program but that didn't work either. Below are just a few things I've tried....

Delete all drivers and start again.
Delete all NVIDIA directories and start again
Stop all NVIDIA programs and start again

etc etc.

Nothing so far has worked and running the install program simply comes up with Failed at the end.

If anyone has managed to solve this problem then I'd love to hear how. Even NVIDIA help desk have advised the same as shown in most Forums. None of it worked and now they have stopped contacting me. Probably because they now have no idea how to help.

My computer is an i7 3770k with 32gb memory running Windows 10 Professional 64bit. The card is an EVGA Superclocked GTX 1080.

Any help and advise is greatly welcomed and thanks in advance to anybody who is able to solve the problem.

nVidia has not clean uninstall but nvidia support team had adviced me using the following url
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/

Currently they have
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V17.0.6.3 Released

download the latest version of DDU
download nvidia driver from
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

read the instructions before doing something.

If you decide to do restart your system and login as SafeMode

apply the last version they have

after then install nvidia drivers as custom with clean checkbox=on

Thanks for the advice. I have tried this several times but had another go as you never know. Sadly it still didn't work. I just can't seem to find a way around this. The display drivers are installed and the card is working perfectly. Just GeForce Experience that won't install. Annoying as I am entitled to a free game after buying my graphics card but I can't download it without GeForce Experience.
you can download your driver from here:
ttp:/www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

you can try to remove it from add/remove programs
nvidia gforce experience ...
Interesting. Are you getting any error or failed to install type messages? Have you looked in the 'Hidden Icons' (bottom right of the TaskBar) and if it is in there, have you tried right click on it?
Hi Glenn. It's doing my head in.

I get a failed to install message when I run the install program. If I install all the drivers, it also fail to install the Experience program. There's nothing visible on the taskbar.

I've removed and reinstalled the display drivers so often I've lost count. I've used the suggested removal tool. But the Experience software just fails to install every time I try again. I've tried every idea I've found in the forums in both normal and safe mode. NVIDIA support suggested all the same things and have now given up on me lol.
Hmmm. Never come accross this kind of thing before. I personally have never had any problems with Experience. Have a look and see if there is anything in the Experience folder []. If it's there, try running the exe file from there. I am just wondering if there would be any point zipping up a complete folder (like mine!) and then you simply un-zipping it in place and then trying to run the exe file from there and see what happens?? Don't suppose it would hurt - either work or won't!
It's a real pain and I have spent weeks going around in circles. I have had a look in the NVIDIA Corporation folder and there is no Experience folder. So it's definitely not installed. I suppose you suggestion might work. Nothing else is at the moment.
Well, I suddenly have a real urge to dance around the room lol. I have just downloaded Version 2.10.2.40 and it installed and is working. Do I tempt fate and try to update it to the latest version or stick with what i have? Now there's a tough one.

I will take the plunge and see what happens.......

........looks like it's doing them bit by bit. 2.11.4.1 installed now......Then it went straight for the newest version and failed again. It deleted the older version too so I now have nothing again.

Reinstalled the older version and it's installed okay. Maybe I am currently destined to stay in the dark ages for a while. Either way it's progress and I feel I may have to order a curry later to celebrate :-)
.....and now it won't run again and I am back to square on. I give up.
Something very odd there, because I am on version 3.5.0.70, which is quite a long way from the v2.11.4.1 which you mention. Incidently, I am also on W10 64bit pro.

From where are you downloading Experience?
The older version is from any random website but the new version is from the official NVIDIA website. There is a slightly newer version than yours which has just been released but that won't work either.
HHHmmmmmm............... Thinking................!
It's one big pain in the &^*£ I have a code for a game that I can't download with GFE. It's probably not valid anymore. I've been messing around with this for nearly 2 weeks now.
