Alaska Railroad
Does anyone have any Alaska railroad repaints or locomotives. I am also looking for some one to help build Whittier to ancorage route from Railroad Alaska TV series.

hmmm, something to think about. I have official route maps given to me by a retired manager of that railroad in case I wanted to build it into my HO layout. These date back to when Alaska Railroad was a independent railroad and not run by the state. He gave me some other stuff as well but I'll have to dig it out cause I don't recall. I will give it a thought cause I do like creating routes.

that would be very helpful. it is completly up to you if you want to help. I am also modeling the ARR in HO scale right now (along with DM&IR, British steam) and am proud to own the mickinely set.

Slowmo; Please check your rout maps and see if that Anchorage route goes up through Fairbanks or Nome. I heard there is a fantastic route that winds around a huge mountain, I think it was Mount McKinly or maybe not, but the view is so spectacular I doubt anyone could really recreat it. While riding up or down the moutain the cars edges are actually outside of the mountain and you can see all the way down! Good luck and best wishes if you can find them!

that I the stretch of track between Whittier and Anchorage. better know as the Kenai Peninsula. You get a really good picture of the Run when animal and dan run the snow plough in season 1 of Railroad alaska.
