Boston to New Haven: MBTA from Boston to Providence, Providence and Worcester shoreline, Shoreline East from New Haven to New London, and Amtrak from Boston to New Haven.
Philly to DC: MARC Penn Line, Amtrak Philly to DC.
i'm wishing to have those routes in Train Simulator! PLEASE DOVETAIL GAMES! PLEEEASE!

There is New Haven - Boston route by cActUsjUiCe already. I would recommending checking it out. Also, I'd rather see Boston - NYC or NYC - DC or even the whole thing, but whole thing might be too much as 7 hours a day straight of gameplay is unhealthy to a degree.

I never had the motivation to finish decoration on New Haven to Boston due to how garbage the route editor is AND because of how old and outdated the game engine is (yes, the current game engine has barely changed in 8 years and performs miserably). There is almost no point in continuing to develop content for TS2017 because of how old the engine is. You can always subscribe to New Haven - Boston AND/OR New Haven - Boston (Preview Channel) in order to play what I worked on. All track and signals are laid...and some scenery exists. It's still enjoyable even if it isn't all decorated.

The good news is that "Northeast Corridor Simulator Development" and myself are looking to the future. We are in the initial planning stages of developing the ENTIRE Northeast Corridor (yes, the whole thing from Boston to Washington) in Train Simulator: World once the route editing tools are released.

Stay tuned on that.

Oh btw cActUsjUiCe.... isn't Train Simulator: World part of Train Simulator 2017? Like is it the same game or a different game?

Same company. Different game.
Blue Fred May 9, 2017 @ 12:55pm
In that game is there the same routes or different routes, what is the core difference?

New engine, new graphics, upgraded physics. As of now, only the one route; Sandpatch Grade. I don't own it, just basing off what I've read, seen, and heard.

So it's basically Train Simulator 2017 but better as a future plan. I wonder if after Train Sim 2017 there will be Train Sim 2018 or they will just stick to Train Sim World.
Mr._Headshot May 9, 2017 @ 2:47pm
They will be most likely sticking with Train Sim: World

So basically Train Sim 2017 is like the final release of the Train Simulator game and they are starting new game. I think that is cool so you won't have to upgrade much.

Yes, but you'll still have downloadable content (DLC). Right now they are marketing it to showcase their only route: Sand Patch Grade.

Yea, so there is no point transferring just yet. Which route of TS2017 is your favorite btw,... North Jersey Coast Line, New York - New Haven, Northeast Corridor, or North Jersey Coast Line + Morristown. I focus on these routes because they are NJT, Amtrak, and Metro North and I live in the area.

My favorite DTG release has been New York - New Haven. Very inaccurate (when it comes to track placement, speed limits, signals, etc), but a decent release nonetheless.

Also, just a fun question but when you start the route are you gonna start at NY Penn and branch off, Boston, or D.C. when you start? (I know I love to ask questions).
I am working on a scenario for North Jersey Coast Line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2gQ6ZX2irE

i'd say DC to Philly.
