Important information about West Rhine Cologne - Koblenz (UPDATED)
I am really pleased with our new German Route: Koln‐Koblenz. We think it really shows off the features of this part of the country and am certain it will provide hours of enjoyment to German rail fans.

After the initial screenshot release from this new route it was pointed out to us by the Train
Simulator community that we'd included the 146.2 locomotive instead of the 146.0 that operates on this route. Needless to say this is absolutely not what we had originally planned, but we’re incredibly grateful to have had this error highlighted. We know that we've included the wrong locomotive and are now working to fix this as quickly as possible.

Rather than delay the release of the Koln‐Koblenz route to await the arrival of the correct loco, we have taken the decision to release what we believe to be an excellent addition to Train Simulator, despite this shortcoming. We would rather give you the choice of whether to pick the route up now, or wait for it to be as we originally intended, with the 146.0 included.

The good news is that work has already begun on the 146.0 to replace the included 146.2 and we expect it to be added to the route in a matter of weeks. We will automatically update the game to include the 146.0 and rerelease the scenarios so they work with the correct locomotive as soon as this is complete. If you get attached to the 146.2, don't worry, we will leave this for you to enjoy in QuickDrive.

Once again, my thanks to those who pointed this error out to us, and please accept my apologies for any initial disappointment this brings. We will be correcting the error with all due haste, but stand by the Koln‐Koblenz route as a worthy addition to your Train Simulator collection.

UPDATE - 18/12/2014

Today we have released an update to West Rhine Cologne - Koblenz. This update adds the DB BR 146.0 to the route which was missing in the original release. The DB BR 146.0 will replace the DB BR 146.2 in all scenarios supplied with the route however if you have grown attached to the DB BR 146.2 then you will still be able to use it in Quick Drive and Create mode. The update will download and install automatically through Steam if you own West Rhine Cologne - Koblenz.

Your English seems fine ktz230 so don't worry. We will be making a DB BR 146.0 and giving it to everyone who buys this route. The route meanwhile will be released with the DB BR 146.2

It sounds rather good... however, this begs a question: what about other rolling stock for this route?
I mean, OK, if it is equipped at least along the lines how the M-A and H-H were equipped, it will not be great, but it will "passable" (and I will be probably interested in it), but if it will be equipped so poorly like M-GP, well, then, I think I will pass on this one...

I am really amazed at how DTG handle the marketing. In the original post it sounds like the Koln-Koblenz route is already out, in the commentaries to the post in my activity feed DTG representatives clearly say "If you buy it now" and people start raising eyebrows thinking why can't they find anything on Steam while DTG clearly states it's out. In the comments here Martin says "will be released".

Jesus, can you at least do the marketing properly? It's the only thing that keeps you afloat! Decide on the strategy, read what you've written before you post and don't post it while passing the PC with a cup of tea and a sandwich.

One thing I would have suggested is that sadly the US Army Corps Consolidation so far could be used on virtually all areas in the UK except the southern and also the prime German routes like this one as about 1300 of them were split between Germany, France, Holland and Belgium, one of them with the old green and grey DB coaches would have been pretty good for the nostalgic German routes :)

Missing out on a prime loco asset there chaps.

From the game's manual as published today:
"1.3 Rolling Stock
The route is served by the Euro Cargo Rail BR 266, which is operated by DB Schenker and the Metronom ME146 which is operated by Metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft."
No, no, no, no, no, NO!

Ok you've got the wrong loco model included, things happen. But at least the delivered locomotive is trafficred and not blue-yellow-white - or to say it in other words: at least you put in a DB loco and not one from ME.
Metronom only serves in northern Germany mostly from and to Hamburg, plus a couple of smaller lines in lower Saxonia and Schleswig-Holstein.

The rhine valley is served by the DB Regional Express 5 line as stated correctly in the manual plus the "Mittelrheinbahn" (MRB, also known as "trans regio") as a private enterprise.
I'm not exactly sure about the freight trains, but ECR surely isn't the only company to use this particular route. It's one of the main freight corridors going north to south in western Germany, I'd believe almost every railroad company will go through there at some point.

However: the ME146 ist NOT included here, but good to know you're selling a repaint (more or less) as a new development :P
Erm, sorry? Metronom? What's it doing here so far in the south? Really? Jesus.
Isn't it supposed to have 9 Scenario's? I only have 4???. Is this right please?

The 146.0 model will be slightly modified from the 146.2. Will the 146.2 be kept for AI traffic?

This looks like a really wonderful piece of DLC... So thinking that, I went ahead and purchased it is Steam, paid for and downloaded and finally installed it. In the DLC list the product states it's installed, only problem is that under Drive, I cannot see it when I go to the scenery/scenario options to select it.
Is there any way I can get Steam to display this DLC?
