Edit: My sarcasm is based on your sarcasm calling DTG, essentially stupid, when they do not program for laptops. (They've stated certain things about laptops are not supported).
I feel at the moment the problems, will just continue to compound, ie get worse before they get better. Shame as I enjoy the product, there are parts of it that are fantastic, hours of great game play, then it all un-ravels with a silly fault, that could have been avoided by thinking things through more, or more testing being done before launching a new add on into the market place. (See above) Bottom line is all the problems are airising, as the infastructure around the product is not correct. Until that is resolved, business wise, I personally doubt anything will change for the positive in the near future.
This is why your all getting upset about patches, updates ,etc. Not enough cooks for the broth. Hence why things are not forth coming on a lot of the time frame stated, and customers are getting very frustrated about small problems, that snowball from online converation's, into huge issues.
My comments, when opening this thread are a classic example. We as customers get frustrated by the lack of support, that supplier at the moment, from what I have viewed, is not in place to give.
Bit like buying a car where the seller clearly states that it doesn't come with any wheels, then having the cheek to complain to the seller that it doesn't have any wheels and therefore can't be driven.
Just my own opinion of course. I'm sure that a lot of people are going to shout me down now!
Have to agree with you on this one glennives60.... In fact many gaming companies do not support their products on laptops since the term can range from Chromebooks to Alienware custom machines and many uninformed consumers can't tell the difference. Not saying that is the case here, but just in general. And to help the OP, I have seen USB numpad extensions that will give a dedicated numpad to machines that don't have one.
I am thinking of buying a similar set-up for myself, but I don't plan to be playing any games on it. (for use with webcam and astronomical software only)
