n topic ERROR could not find ShaderDepthOfField.Fx

this error comes up every time i try to play TS ive tried uninstaling and reinstalling and removing and replacing the two post depth of field both FX and O files that didnt work either, please help its really frustrating me

whicg FX and/or O files? I never heard of those and never seen anything about such an error?
I found a bunch of .fx and .fx.o files in skin folders and such but there are a whole bunch of them and not "both".
Route/scenario this is happening to

The fact nobody has answered you yet might be due to the fact nobody (at least nobody reading this forum since you posted and that saw this post) has a rfigging clue what you are talking about. Never seen this error before. Google search comes up with all kind of non gaming related things like autodesk and such. a steam search give only your topic

hhm a bit further searching tells me that your graphics card could be to weak? not sure, need sys specs

yea its a error of one of the shader files there are only 2 in the dev-shaders well only two with shader depth which are FX and O, ill have a look at my specs now as its a custom built tower

we posted at the same time heheheh. Ok checked your graphics card but I am confused. What I could find is that the card itself has only 265MB DDR3 and the pro version 512MB DDR3
that does not cut it even with the additional memory your oboard gpu shares. you want at least 1GB DDR3 dedicated video. Also your ram is a bit odd, it seems you either have 3 1GB or a 1GB and 3GB ramcards. The 3x1 would be the best option in that case but if you do appen to have a slot left make it an even 4. If you have to do with just 2 slots upgrade your 1GB for a 2GB, it is best to spread the load even. Your CPU also has kind of a low benchmark score

all in all I think you are in need of some upgrades. I hope you are not running windows 7 or 8 because you will come absolutely short on power in that case

according to the "minimum specs" with the pro card you should be able to play it but I haven't believed those specs since I bought the game. Especially content 2014 and up is way more demanding.

No, DTG should adjust the minimum specs so people like OP don't drop a lot of money for a game that might gonna need them to drop a lot more money just to be able to play it. It's a second hand system with as you said an outdated card. It might have been enough for Railworks 2 and on lowest settings maybe even 2014 but 2015... nah

yea im running windows 7 ultimate i was also running my Samsung RV510 off the same windows 7 and it run it on there fine

i have had the same error since the update and have been told that my pc spec are not up to running the game what annoys me is before the update the game ran fine at the medium graphics settings but now wont even load , dispite many support request asking if i can return the game to its previous version i have not had areply

i dont think you can downgrade the game so to to speak but my tower stuff is from 2005-6 so it wont run it even though ive updated the hell out of the vid card and other specs, ohwell new vid card it is
