Thomas the Tank Engine
As LMS Jintys are often used at Day Out w/ Thomas events, I just wanted to know: Has anyone made a Thomas reskin for the Jinty model?

Wasn't the original an LBSCR 0-6-0 tank engine? I had heard the original engine got wiped out in the US or something.

To answer your question Dodgydruid, yes, Thomas is an LB&SCR E2 0-6-0. All of that class was scrapped in favor of the wartime USA class, none were preserved. However, JH55000 (a Youtuber I subscribed to) is starting a society to rebuild one from scratch.

Honestly just reskin one of the existing Jinty's out there or use the sodorrails.webs.com Thomas. Reskining is not that hard, just google it yourself and it will provide answers.

But I don't think it's possible with MS paint.

My now grown up daughter was a great fan of Thomas as a little girl and has an original set of the books in her room right now as every day was a story told of the little engine, routines were easy, dinner and bath, on to BBC2 to watch the Simpsons and then off to bed for her and her story but one day she had been really really naughty and she recalls this to her friends today in a hushed tone, the day Thomas went off the rails, went to the iron spikist shop and got covered in mean punk spikes and a big brass piercing through his dome, was told off by the fat controller and the thin controller for being naughty and partying all night with the troublesome trucks and upset the lady carriages so much after mixing diesel in with his water fill up that Thomas was ordered to go on a special journey, where he and other "naughty" engines were taken to a magical island called Barry, met the owner Mr Cut 'em Up and his assistant "Torchy" and by this time, the eyes peeping over her duvet are like saucers and we never finished that story and to be honest she never quite played me up as badly as she had done ever again (this is a true story) and only once did I ever mention finishing the tale...

Uh... Please try to be relevant. Though, Barry was supposed to be from Barry Scrapyard.

You have to be very careful with Thomas branding, the media rights owner is very very possessive as anyone remembering Swanage getting a load of hassle over its "Thomas" trains and they weren't alone either and whilst DTG licencing or other appropriate licensing agreements apply in the general to be fairly "free", the US company behind Thomas is an ardent supporter of the RIAA and MPAA and if they think you are cashing in, exploiting or misrepresenting their brand they could make life difficult for you.
