SAD-Scenery pack

I am installing some freeware routes and one of the packs I need is the Sad scenery pack. All Google links go to a German site where I have found everything else that I need except this pack. Anyone has any idea? any download location known?

SAD are the markers of the Koeblitzer Mountain Route. There is a freeware version of this route called Altenburg -Wildau. You can download it from here http://www.railsimulator.net/wsif/index.php/Entry/9-Altenburg-Wildau-Version-2-1/

I'm not aware of any specific SAD scenery pack but my guess is that what you need is contained in this route...which is very nice by the way.

Can I ask what you're working on?...always interested in German routes.

My guess is that you try to install Hagen-Siegen V3 [Kurzbuchstrecke 440].
You are probably looking for this one[rail-sim.de]
Note: This is only needed if you don't have "Im Koblitzer Bergland" installed. It contains the assets that are part of of Koblitzer Bergland, but not part of the Altenburg-Wildau route.

Correct The3oLand. Hagen-Siegen, Northern Europe and a select few others following the readmes with the routes and an topic on the old forums (couldn't find the same topic on the in app discussion forums) http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2506666. The steps in that topic still can be followed but step 3 has gone from an italian site to the german trainsim site. This is also where the SAD pack should be but despite some targeted on site searching in both English and German I could not dig it up there.

checking out these routes because I have heard many good things about them especially the Hagen - Siegen and Northern Europe but the Felberpass sounds like a fun one as well. If I get them to work I am planning to do some stream with them. Onla SAD is missing from the routes, have started hunting down the material as well because I already noticed that installing a route even by the step by step explanations in a readme does not mean you have everything you need to actualy be able to play the darn thing lol

lau.constantin, I Installed the Altenburg route as well, it does not contain the SAD scenery pack unfortunately is my understanding

Well, you don't need a lot for the Hagen-Siegen V3 one. Make sure that you have the latest which is 3.1.0 (not to be confused with 3.01).
See the German manual that is part of the download. You don't need understand a lot of German to get the links. Just click on the links in the manual. That Italian site is not required at all for HaSi.
You do need a lot of third-party assets for the Felberpass (V2), fortunately most of it can be found in a big asset pack on the web site.
HaSi and Felberpass are two completely different routes although they both have an emphasis on "correct" signalling, PZB magnets and the lot. HaSi is is more slow speed and a existing route. Felberpass is completely fictional.
If you like German routes, you really should look at Altenburg-Wildau as well; not just for the assets. Traindriver 316 aka Roman G. is busy together with SAD making a V3 release. Should be released soon on www.railsimulator.net.

*Update*: There is a new version Hagen-Siegen V3.1.3[rail-sim.de]. Various fixes. There is some confusion if you should / shouldn't install this on top of the previous version. My advice is to uninstall the V3.1.0 first before installing V3.1.3.

From the routes mentioned in the topic I linked to I have the Albulabahn running and (though I haven't tried to run it yet) the Altenburg route looks to be installed ok (thumbnails for both route and train showing up but it is not showing up in NameMyRoute. others are showing up and don't show initial failures there (although I do not know if that means they are installed ok tbh) Basically I am missing a few of the rolling material and the SAD package. If Roman is working with these people maybe he would like to ask them if they still have this pack available for download somewhere or if they might be willing to provide the pack to me in some way.

Recently got really into this game and want to see what users have brewed up, maybe even take a shot at it myself somewhere in the future. I do thank all of you for the replies, much appreciated

I am an idiot, Had Altenau downloaded but not yet installed lol. Good too since I had the previous version so downloaded V2.1 and registered for that site while I was at it. Looks they have lots more of goodies overthere.

Als je een dode draad van NEGEN jaar geleden weer nieuw leven inblaast, kan het wat traag zijn om een antwoord te krijgen. Hoeveel van die posters zijn er nog actief, denk je?
Heb je de eerder geposte links geprobeerd? Heb je Google geprobeerd?

Resurrecting a dead thread from NINE years ago might make getting an answer a little slow. How many of those posters are still active , do you think?

Je had ook gewoon antwoord kunnen geven. Er zijn genoeg spelers over van die tijd trouwens. Dit is geen CoD dat je een jaartje speelt en dan nooit meer aanraakt.

Je hebt een antwoord, niet mijn probleem als je het niet leuk vindt. Het was heel redelijk om te vragen wat je had onderzocht en erop te wijzen dat het misschien beter was om een nieuw onderwerp te starten. Toch wel.
