Class 91 and moving it
Hi I feel so thick, but I can't get the 91 moving mainly the reverser to move up to 100% forward and back. I have looked all over the cab for any other button and switch that I've not tried but can't find anything. Please help...

Have you read any manuals? If one exists for the 91, then you will probably find it here> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Manuals

Manuals & Instructions are always a good place to start - better than just trying to guess. I don't personaly have the 91 so I can't help any further than that.

Try taking a look on Page 10 of the Manual:-
4.1 Simple & Expert Controls Tutorial: Class 91
You will learn about operating the class 91 using expert controls. The controls will be
explained before you will be instructed to drive the train to King's Cross where you will make
a passenger stop. Don't worry, everything will be explained at a comfortable pace.

Also there are different Cabs Controls for the 91
3 Driving the Class 91.
3.2 Class 91 Slab Cab Controls
3.3 Mk4 DVT Cab Controls

Tutorial from about 3mins onwards, once you get past a lot of blurb.

Is the reverser going into position??? Ie Forward and back from Neutral, I only ask, as I had a similar problem when I installed the level, that seemed to sort itself out, ie it was a bug, when first installed.

Is it possible that you have the DRA (Driver Reminder Appliance) switched on? If that were the case it would prevent you moving forward, even if you had carefully adjusted everything-else.

It's just above (top left) the train's cab speedo, a round push buttton that glows red when it is activated. If it is on, simply push it to switch it off (then stops glowing red) or alternatively I think press 'K' on the keyboard.

It might be something-else that's causing the problem, but certainly worth double checking. Hope you manage to get the loco moving. Good luck!

Here's a question I have, some times, my Class 91's reverse will go up to 13% and no longer work, anyone else heard of this problem?
Mattg17 Feb 17, 2015 @ 6:30am
kev I have had this with both so there is some problem that needs to be fixed.

I have experienced the same problem with the reverser on the Class 91 only moving to 13% in the forward position. However you can still drive the loco as normal.I also suggest that if you "save" the scenario and then "exit" and then reload. You may find that this rectifies the reverser fault. Try it....
