RW_Tools. And use that programme to identify ALL .ap files, both asset and content (route) data, and use the same tool to unzip (unpackaqe) the .ap files - it essentially uses Win 7-zip as the tool to do this - but you are presented with a convenient variety of options when it does it.
Google RW Tools and take a look to see if it is what you need.
RailVehicles\Diesel\BR294\Default\Engine. Highlight the GeoPcDx file(s) and at the top you will see a copy button with a right arrow - press that and it will copy the GeoPcDx files to same folder as the .ap file. Closew 7-zip. All you have to do is copy or move the GeoPcDx files to the Kuju folder where the reskin is. That's it
I just tried that. The original BR294 has just one GeoPcDx file called br294.GeoPcDx. I extracted it from the .ap file and placed in the appropriate Kuju folder (where the repaint was installed). Although the game does not crash when I attempt to start a quick drive scenario, the locomotive is totally invisible...no cab or outside view at all.
