how to drive with SIFA

can someone explain to m ehow to drive with SIFA i keep getting emergency brake applications

The manual for the locomotive will tell you how to disable it or what key is the acknowlege button. you need to hit that button every 20 or 30 seconds to avoid emergency braking.

sorry yeah i know that its just the things that flahs up on the dash next to the sppedo i dont understand i am coming into platforms and getting emergency braked despite me slowing down to stop etc

Depends on the developer of a given loco. In locos from DTG you have to press NumLock enter each time the SIFA indicator lights. On VR locos it's Q, I think there are some locos where the space key acknowledges SIFA.
