Hi all, when I am driving the Class 91 or Mk4 DVT on the ECML Kings Cross - Peterborough, the train keeps stopping because the emergency brake keeps coming on.......what am I doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Read the owners manual for the route especially the page on AWS and TPWS.

Sounds like you're missing the DVD (Driver Vigilance Device) alarm, that goes off every minute or so, when no train controls have been touched for a while. It's a gentle audible beep, that you might not hear if you had your speakers too low, and certainly would miss if you were out in one of the exterior camera views.

It needs to be acknowledged with a quick press of 'Q' key on the keyboard. Failure to do so, will result in the very experience you are describing; slamming on of emergency brakes with no apparent warning i.e. not a traffic light in sight, so not missed AWS alarm.

And no, sorry on this loco the DVD can't be disabled; as it can for example on the Class 92. Hope that's of some help.

The 'beep' is very quiet, same on the 801's :(

DTG were supposed to be issuing an update to allow you to disable this last year, however it has still yet to appear.

The beep on the 801 is too quiet, same for the 395. Still like driving them though. Good Effect though. I had this problem on the class 91, and it sorted itself out, I assume it started as soon as you downloaded it. I could't get out of Kings Cross station, and then suddenly it sorted itself.
Makes you wonder....

I think in the end they gave up on the idea. Just economically not viable perhaps?

It's in the folder with all the other owners manuals that you get when you download the program from steam.

All the Steam DLC add-on manuals are automatically downloaded and installed in your Railworks folder. Defaul location is (EN for English manuals):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Manuals\EN
