This should help.
Basicly when in the Cab you can use the mouse, Mouse Schroll wheel to Zoom in and out. Right click and Hold, and move the Mouse to pan around the Cab. But take a look in the manual for further Controls.
For Keyboard here is a pretty full list.

Manual TS 2015 http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/24010/manuals/TS2015_User_Guide.pdf?t=1422949176
also check the manual for Class 57
and unless you are starting completely "cold and dark" engine, the start up procedure is no different from any other advanced loco...
So, sorry for this, but... "RTFM", really. :-)
Thanks Felix, it is noted at the end of my post. I remember When I was a newbie, and could not find nothing.
It sounds like you've got the Driver Vigilance system enabled. Is a beeping alarm noise briefly going off before your brakes kick in and gind to a halt? If so the reason is the Class 57 has a driver footplate that needs to be pressed by the foot of the driver when the vigilance warning alarm goes off typically about once a minute when nothing has been changed with the controls. It's a bit like the AWS that if you don't acknowledge it, the loco's emergency brakes will slam on. Since it appears the driver is not alert/concious.
If this is what is happening, when you hear the alarm either physically press the footplate with the mouse (a bit fiddly), or an easier option is to press the 'E' key on the keyboard, and this will acknowledge the system, turn of the beeping alarm and allow the train to continue driving forward (or backward) as normal.
If you don't want the hassle of the Driver Vigilance alarm system you can disable it at anytime by pressing the keyboard combination 'Shift' plus 'E' keys together, and reactivate it again by pressing the same key combo once more. I might be mistaken but I thought by default the system was set to be deactivated at the start of scenarios, and only activated by pressing Shift+E. With these advanced options there's normallly a little white rectangular box in the top right hand corner of the screen, at the start of the scenarios that allows you to choose whether you want such options enabled or not.
Anyway hope that's some help and keeps you happily rolling down the line. All the best.
I am not quite following you. Are you talking about the head lights?
This afternoon i'm gonna see how they fair on the WCML over Shap then continuing on the WCML to GLC, my regular turn of duty! I fear they won't match the FTPE timing from Preston to GLC, 3hrs, i've formed a double-headed 'Royal Scot'-2 x Class 50's that just about manage the timing so we'll see eh ?
I have to thank-you for your help Jim and, may I pick your brain on another matter ? Have you any idea on how to change the points (destination) on Quick Drive senario's ?
Thanks again Richard.
2d map find you location on the map zoom in or out as necessary( mouse wheel ) click on the point you want to change, The blue line is your line of direction.
The 2D map can be accessed via the appropriate icon on the HUD, by pressing key 9, or
via the user interface. p.15,16 in TS2015 Manual.
Or bring up the Task Information F1, change switch ahead ( 2 arrows pointing up) or G key.
Switch behind , (2 arrows pointing down) or Shift G.
Task Information p, 52,53 in the Manual.
Hope that helps, good luck with your route and consist.
Another possibilty is to Clone the route /scenario, and set up your consist etc, with the editor.
This may help better with your timings,
Did you register the info I passed to you as regard the FTPE 350 units that they are now rated 100mph over the WCML when speed allows, the speedometer has a yellow line at 100mph ? :)
100 mph (160 km/h) (350/2 only)
110 mph (180 km/h)
?
So good luck on your run to Carlisle.
