How to renumber locomotives/cars

So i have the challenger pack, and i want to drive 3985 but the nubers a random. is there any way i can change the loco numbers?

You have to go into the scenario editor. Double-click on the front set of driving wheels and change the number in the fly-out that appears in the top right-hand side of the screen. Then do the same on the rear set of driving wheels, and again on the tender.

I tried this to renumber a loco to access additional features c but my loco just turns yellow or red, no fly out.

You have to move the mouse cursor up to the top right-hand of the screen to make the flyout appear.

I try, but absolutely nothing there.

What colour should the loco be to indicate selection: it turns yellow or red when clicked repeatedly.

If swapping stock in Ts-Tools, you can also renumber in there. Just FYI.

Thanks, Cyclone, that might be the best option. I’ve never used TS Tools yet: can I just add a new loco variant to the list, or do I have to have a scenario with loco in place to edit first?
