TS Tools dont know what to do
Hello when i opened TS Tools from ATS there was a message that said ''If this is the first use of this program you must run following:-
1. Route Building Tools/Extract RouteProperties.xml
2. Scenario/Extract ScenarioProperties.xml
To enable the program to correctly index items in .ap files''

i thought this was some kind of warning message then i opened it up and was going to edit something but then when i clicked on the .ap files it wouldnt show in the box below
anyone know what this means and what i have to do?

Two instructions.

you must run following:-

1. Route Building Tools/Extract RouteProperties.xml
2. Scenario/Extract ScenarioProperties.xml

This implies when you are completed with running each of the two instructions the overall program should now be ready to accept whatever future work or play you have in mind on the next start up.

You also have to tell TS Tools where TSC 2024 is. ie what drive it is on.
Install and always run TS-Tools as Administrator. Also as with any new program a read of the manual is helpful. Also check the Guides section for how to use TS-Tools.

I did run it as adminstrator and the message popped up again

I selected a wrong option at the first installation, uninstalled and reinstalled it with all fitting paths, as administrator at the main drive (c:) and it worked.

TSTools needs to unpack these files so that it can read what it needs to know about each route. You will normally only have to do it once, but if you add more routes then you will likely need to repeat the unpacking.

The first words are the menu headings at the top and in each menu, you will find the second group of words just click on them.
