Those "cleaned up" bugfests from 2023 should be avoided with x3D chips (regular Ryzens are fine with everything).
I'm not aware of any CPU or batch issues (but thats not to say there hasnt been)
Other than that, there was an ongoing issue with fullscreen mode in 2023 update, it was impossible to Alt+Tab out of game, as it crashed immediately (and while using borderless window instead was an OK workaround most of the time, fullscreen mode has simply its use as well). Most of the other issues of 2023 update were rectified over time.
This all being said, this is not to say, that 2024 version is bug free, quite the opposite, but those bugs affect different areas of the game.
So it does look like we can take TSC mostly out of the equation in terms of the x3D choice (or not) - that is good, it looks like the debate is going to be gaming vs productivity, which will be a fierce one as I'm a 50/50 mix :D (I use da vinci resolve studio and some cinematographic cameras and blender so some 3d and media rendering/conversions is on the cards)
My 3600 holds up quite good tbh its a very good general purpose CPU and I don't actually knock it too much, so I suppose in this case eithers going to be a good route
cheers :)
