Out of memory error
so how this error started is that i was editing the north london line and goblin route and then when i clicked the orange button to save it and then when i was about to click yes on ''Do you want to save changes to the route?'' i accidently did a left click or selected and dragged something by mistake and then game froze and the taskbar and windows menu would appear overlapping the screen in TS and i couldnt press the Cancel or Ok button on ''Do you want to save changes to this route?' so i restarted the computer, opened up ts again then opened the scenario back up and 20 seconds in it crashed saying an out of memory error and it seemed to do this with every scenario on that route. Tried clearing the cache but that didnt seem to to work either. Any help?

It sounds like you broke something in the route when you "dragged something by mistake" so you have little choice but to revert to the last backup you made of the route.

You can easily open the tracks.bin file with serz.exe by converting it into readable XML code but if you can identify any errors in there you will be doing well.

Ok, where is the serz.exe file located?

I would suggest that you verify your game files. https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB

In the main Railworks directory.
