Really good freeware scenarios
Hey everyone I'm pretty new to Train Sim and don't have much money to buy dlc and stuff, but I was wondering if there were some Really good recommended freeware maps for the base game, the only dlc I have is the ones that came with the game which are:

Academy - UK, US and German Training Zones
Hitachi Class 801
Train Simulator: Amtrak Acela Express EMU Add-On
Train Simulator: DB BR 411 ICE-T EMU Add-On
Train Simulator: East Coast Main Line London - Peterborough Route
Train Simulator: Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen Route Add-On
Train Simulator: NEC: New York-New Haven Route Add-On

Any scenarios would be fine I like Passenger routes and Cargo Routes so any is good.

If you are after third paty routes. I like NERW - North Eastern Pa Div from Railworks America. http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/route-collection?view=document&id=21:nerw-north-eastern-pa-div&catid=20:route-collection

Completley free, but you have to chase a few extra downloads off other sites.

Top notch route this one I was gonna suggest it myself but I think you might need the US asset pack and possibly the EU one as well. Without those two packs its hard to get any sort of freeware stuff but the good news is if you can spare a few dollars at some point (maybe in a sale or something) they come bundled in some of the earlier routes. I think WCML North actually has them both bundled with it.

there are some good Spanish routes like the LAV: Madrid - Valencia which is a high speed route
http://www.railsim.es/index.php (free account needed, translate plugin recommended)

there are Albula and Altenburg Wildau and many other German routes

I can go on and on really :)

A tip with freeware routes. Always read the documentation that come with them, there might be additional downloads needed. On the site of railworks america always download from the route page and check the drop down with the downloads, if multiple downloads are offereed you will need all of them

Good luck route hunting, have fun :)
