Class 395 Keeps putting Emergency Brakes on
I am trying to do the London to Faversham route with a Class 395. I can set off no problem at all. I stop at Stanford and pick up passengers then set off again. Now here is the problem. After leaving Stanford and heading to the next station Alarm Bells start to ring and the emergency brakes come on. The Train stops and thats it. I can't get the brakes off and the alarm just keeps sounding. I have never completed this Route as it happens all the time, I just have to quit the game. Has anyone got any suggestions. I keep to speed limits. Is there anyone who could suggest what I am doing wrong.

Hav you read the user manual for the route and locomotive? There may be more information there.

As always on steam: go to the shop site of the product (London-Faversham in this case).
Scroll a bit down and on the right site you will find the option read manual

The easyist way is here: http://www.railsimulator.com/support
Or here: C:\program files(X86)\steam\steam apps\common\Railworks\manuals
The manuals are in pdf form and you can print them for referance.

I found them. Will have to have a good read. Looking at it I need a bit more experience with this train. I don't play with steam trains only diesel.

Sounds to me like youre letting the DSD kick in, if you dont make a control movement or press the AWS reset button, 'Q', every few secs, the train assumes youre dead and clamps the brakes on. However, to release, you can do this before you even stop by applying the brakes fully and then releasing them, this will unlock the emergency setting.

It really is a case of RTM though, I would also recommend watching a couple of videos on Youtube, this one is very good as he really explains everything he does very well,
