Train Maps Live - Track your run on google Maps

I was on the UKTrainSim forum and found a discussion over this little utillity - TraIn Map Live - reads the LAT/LON from the Raildriver.DLL that is part of TS2016 and then plats the train on Google Maps - If you have ever watched Matt Pendleston stream on Twitch - this is very much like his live map - Here is the url: http://haywardstudios.co.uk/train-maps-live/

I have used it several scenarios today and must say it adds a whole new dimension - I am running TS in Borderless mode and have the Map full screen on a second monitor and it is great - Was easy to install (Actual all you do is unzip the archive -- once you start the program point it to your Steam Directory and start enjoying seeing your route on Google Maps in real time)

I have been using it for a while now. I does add a new dimension, unfortunatly I tend to miss speed or signal changes if I get distracted. If the scenario creator has his coordinates worng you can be a mile or more off.

It isn't the scenario creator - it is the route itself that has the wrong coordinates - the train can only go where the tracks are laid :-) . But I agree -- you can get distracted easily

I'm aware this can be run on a 2nd monitor, but what about on an android tablet linked to PC?? rwaday - I'm sure you've told me about this before but I can't find the post :-(
