Restart the game. If it did not correct the issue see if you received an update for your realtek driver. You may need to reconfigure your front and rear outpot.

The included OpenAL sound driver is prone to getting locked up by other sound systems. It may be worth a reboot before trying any radical fixes.

Have the same issue with iMac and boot camp, with windows 7 and 10
Must start 1-30 times before I get sound. Thinking that the problem is that pc has been in sleep mode. Boot the computer so works TS with sound
- Other programs and games work with audio

I got sound to work reliably by renaming OpenAL32.dll in the railworks folder. Evidently my system had another OpenAL version installed and they were conflicting. Might work for you.

Rename Openal32.Dll not start TS. Suspect now that it is SteelSeries Engiene 3 keyboard drivers that make is no sound, after some use.
Tested now by the computer had not been restarted in a few days. Started TS 4 times with audio. Noticed that I had not keyboard profile for TS. Starting SteelSeries keybord program / profile, and after it does not get any sound in TS anymore. Boot the computer everything works again.

- No sound is both PC and Bluetooth for my part

Did you try clearing your game cache? It sounds (pun intended) like a driver issue. You might uninistall and reinstall both.

For my me it has been problem since Imac I7 was new for almost a year ago. Only drivers I have outside of Boot Camp is SteelSeries Engiene. Has been so for both win7 and 10.
Both new installation or old. No sound internally or through bluetooth. Hoping for TS2016, but ... All other programs/games work with sound!

This would be worth a support ticket to fix. .

I'll contact support. Uninstalled now the only drivers I have outside bootcamp drivers, Steel Series Engine 3. Reboot pc and got sound 4 of 8 times I started TS. After some time the use of computers can I start 50 times before I get sound.

-Experiencing the same as they write in Railworks America Website, that the problem has grown gradually.

Most likely a driver issue with windows and bootcamp. It may be it is getting confused on what driver to use.

The problem was the same for both windows 7 and 10

I experienced the no-sound problem under 8.1. No driver updates fixed the problem. It was a native TS2015 bug.
To recover I had to restart the game, but what I did before doing it, was awakening my computer sound. A way to do that is changing the sound volume in the loudspeaker icon.
If I remembered to wake up sound before playing, I always got sound in TS2015.
Once I upgraded to Windows 10 the problem was eradicated until today.

There was no OpenAL64.dll in the C:\windows\system32 folder, so I installed it and the sound came out.

I'm pretty sure they got it working after nearly 10 years.
