Yorkshire coast route
Can I give a mention to a route I'm building, I've statrted a facebook page to show progress https://www.facebook.com/Whitby-to-East-Cleveland-for-Railworks-1094212613942366/?ref=hl It runs from Whitby West cliff in North Yorkshire to Saltburn in East Cleveland, There are spurs and branch lines off to various ironstone mines where wagons can be loaded, Most of the stations have working coal drops and I've put a lot of work into detailing the steelworks on the coast at Skinningrove, It is modelled in the ironmaking era and a friend of mine has made a pack with interactive slag wagons, Loading points and tipping points, These can be seen in action in the videos I've posted, I'd like to put the route onto workshop but it's not possible at the moment due to the use of custom objects, I also have a gallery of pictures, They can be found here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/54270350@N06/albums/72157630900927534

unfortunately your facebook link is cencored, this might be due to a combination of letters and numbers that are for whatever reason blocked on steam. If I am correct you can request a custom link for your page on facebook so you avoid random and possibly blocked strigns (like G followed by 2 followed by A which is a blocked site here)
You should be able to host your content trhough UKTS but actually I would advice you to try and use something like ondrive or googledrive (my personal choice) as download speeds at ukts are extremely slow and routes can become fairly big in size. If people have to download 500+MB with a download speed of 5kbps it might turn them away. Your screens look promising, lokin forward to this. I do have a site dedicated to TS so if you need a host for the download you are welcome to have a page if so desired, you can find it at http://www.wolfdenmedia.nl/ (the more places you can advertise your route the better right ;) )

Thankyou, I've hosted previous versions on UKTS, The next version will be on there too as are some of the add-ons required, I'll look into the facebook link

it must have been my browser not liking those hearts because if you remove the last part and only use https://www.facebook.com/Whitby-to-East-Cleveland-for-Railworks-1094212613942366/ you get to the page just fine :)

Very interesting and looks wonderful so far, this is where my GF is from so will follow this one for sure.

It's local to me too, I thought it sensible to start with what's on my doorstep, It's been a while in the making and I've enjoyed looking up the history and finding old pictures to work from

Come on now, a person with over 4,000 games on Steam is moaning about the fact that it costs a grand total of 3 pounds for one months' premium membership at UKTS.

Free or not, I cant use UKTS so I just have to look at stuff like this with jealousy.

I drove a 101 from Whitby West to Boosbeck on your route this very evening and plan to upload the full run to Youtube. You have done a brilliant job (speaking as somebody who has no clue how to even lay a piece of track in the editor). My one gripe is that the track geometry is simple - no transitions (easements) or cant (super elevation) however it's a really enjoyable run and fits the real world map pretty well, vertical transitions (gradient changes) could be more subtle but the scenic atmosphere you've achieved more than makes up for it and I stress again that I'm no route builder, so I admire your work. There are loads of oportunities for scenarios of every type (sadly I'm no scenario builder either) and I hope they will come as more people find your route. Even with my track gripe, it is a really well made route that I will continue to enjoy, and it's fantastic in terms of freeware and I much recommend for UKTS users and anyone else who loves vintage UK routes (UKTS is pretty cheap to join, also recommended - I have just as much content from there as official DLC). My video will take a day or two but I'll re-post when it's online. Cheers!

Thanks for the comments, I'd love to have cant on the route but It's been a long time since I laid the first track and the feature wasn't available when I started, I'm off to work shortly (to lay track) but for anyone who can't use UKTS I'll post the route on google drive, However some of the freeware required comes from there which I obviously can't upload, Keep the screenshots and videos coming

Great stuff, what freeware is required on top?
