Blurred Vision?
Hi All,
Trying the new version of Train Simulator and noticing that everything is coming out blurry, the outside world and unless I look almost straight down the instruments are too. This just makes it unplayable.

Does any one have any ideas how I can turn this effect off?
Thanks

Turn off depth of field.

Menu options. Camera depth of field I think etc.

I personally thought the blurring was a liability in this game.

Check your resolution, especially, if you are using DX12 experimental version.

Thanks all, it was in fact it was the depth of field, switch if off and the screen becomes readable again.

So the question is why do we have an option that blurs out the screen and makes things unreadable, there must be a reason for it?

For making pretty screenshots. It isn’t really useful for anything else.

Ive been trying to make relatively nice shots such as they are in the game. However With the blur turned off and the depth turned off the engines approach the camera looking pretty bad. Its almost like the old 16 bit tv games from 35 years ago.

I hate to have to fiddle with the options so I can take pretty screenshots again. I dont know yet. Its food for thought.
