The latest 4060TI released today, has gone down like a lead balloon with Pro-reviewers all over youtube and the media, DOA with it's poor value for money and 8GB VRAM lack of future proofing. The last gen 3060TI is only around 10% slower.
Don't forget AMD is shortly releasing brand new low to midrange cards and most reviewers stating might be worth waiting to see what they can offer.
Best.

Im running a 3050RTX with the 8 gig memory its ok. But am already planning to install one with at 24 gig of memory.
When you have lots of memory on a good video card you only need one. Two at the very most. The days of SLI and Crossfire may be coming to a end.
A single powerful mid-range modern GPU will outperform multiple GPU configurations of the past and at 1440p or 4K.
16GB of VRAM on a powerful GPU is enough up to 4K resolutions at the moment into the next few years or more according to game developers. What they don't like is the increasing difficulty of trying to cram modern game textures into 8GB cards as those textures become more complex and numerous. The main reason older 8GB cards and modern 8GB cards are becoming 'unplayable' at higher game settings and 1080p/1440p, or not displaying textures correctly as VRAM runs out in some recent top titles.
Best.

or you finally configured your system properly,
or we are witnessing prime example of placebo effect.
I am just pretty sure, that we are not privvy to all unknowns it that equation - but again, if it works for you, it is by all means OK.
And as I said previously - no matter what, keep the 3060 Ti.
My newest personal PC self-build 5800X/Asus 6800XT OC allows me to now play TSC at 4K with maxed out graphics settings at around 40-120 FPS, dependent on route/traction and camera view-point.
Glad you can see some improved frame rates with your upgrade and will be interesting to see how the other card performs.
Best.
If you want to sell the one you don't keep, let me know...
First thing I'll do is install Steam and TSC - pretty excited.
Then transferring my full TSC installation files via LAN...
