What are your PC specs? What error messages are you getting? (If any)
What type of crash is it, blue screen of death, CTD, freezing, non-responsive to input, only in certain routes, only at certain locations, only certain trains or rolling stock?
Any and all details will help everyone find an answer.
Make sure that the game itself is fully updated and patched through Steam and GFX drivers are fully updated to the manufacturer's own WHQL certified drivers, as well as Windows being up to date.
OOM errors are well known and have been addressed many times in this forum. There are many fixes, there isn't just one fix, you'll have to try all the options yourself.
Your idea of a PC being "very good" may not match anybody else's, there is an easy way to post the specs:
Go to the top of Steam page and click "help", then click "system information". Wait for the pop-out window to open and display the information, then right click and select the "copy all text to clipboard" option, and then paste it here.
Best.

Have you opened up a trouble ticket with DTG since all this community gave you was bs? And if bs is all you got from this community, why are you back asking for help again? Did you even try what I suggested in post #4?
PC power is not always helpful, but how it is configured is very important.
I see no SSD details mentioned, what are you using for storage please?
I also note two displays in use. Is the larger one a TV running at 60Hz and your smaller monitor 60Hz too? Non native display resolutions can also upset TSC settings.
I would suggest unplugging your displays, restart your PC with only one display at a time plugged in, deleting your TSC Player Profile bin file 'each time' and then retest if still problems. In addition, make sure both displays use the same native resolution when running TSC.
Best.
The specs are fine, the settings and game installation look to be the area to look at, have you tried any of the OOM fixes yet? It might be a long job to isolate the cause, or it could be simple, that is the worst thing about OOM errors, some players are plagued by them and some never experience them. Reading the guides and going through old posts will give a range of solutions for sorting OOM errors out.
The good new is, if you haven't been playing TSC recently, DTG have been taken over by a French gaming company and they have started overhauling the core code of TSC. There have already been some patches released, which is why making sure TSC is fully up to date on Steam is going to be important.
They are (seemingly) aware of the many issues TSC has and have said they will try to sort it all out, but we can only hope at the moment. You also probably missed out on a couple of French routes they gave away free when the took DTG over, if you've not been playing!
If you are serious about playing TSC, I would also suggest an NVme M2 drive dedicated to the Steam library storage, it can be a huge improvement for all games. Load times, especially loading assets while playing, are massively reduced, making the games smoother loading scenery etc. I benchmarked my previous HDD at 177 MB/s transfer rate and my Samsung Evo plus M2 drive at 3599 MB/s, the difference is staggering. An M2 drive on the motherboard takes 2 minutes to install and 1 Tb is about £50 at the moment, which is ridiculous value for money.
A quick look on the Asus site shows that you have the 'G35DX-0021B59XGXT' version of 3 PCs of that model.
That model is listed as having a 1TB SATA 7200RPM 3.5" HDD and a 1TB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 3.0 Performance SSD.
Strange that the spec's you posted shows a Total Hard Disk Space Available: 2883362 MB, yet no storage systems listed!
Also, that model is shown as having an RTX 3080 (NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX3080 10GB DDR6X) yet your listing
shows an RTX 3090 - have you upgraded yourself or was it an option when you bought the PC?
Along with that, as well as the 2 displays, your list indicates 'Number of Monitors: 2 - Number of Logical Video Cards: 2',
now it's most likely that I am getting confused (its an age thing) but could you be using 2 graphics cards (3080 + 3090)
simultaneously somehow (Im not sure how or if that would even work) or most likely both monitors, 1 GPU?
And just for the record, your graphics driver is listed as 31.0.15.3179 from April 25th, there is a later version -
536.99 (31.0.15.3699) released 4th August 2023 - so it might not hurt to update it.
Your Steam PC specs were a little strange as Glenn above has pointed out and I observed too. Although Steam can sometimes get things wrong when probing. I am guessing you 'upgraded' the Asus particular PC you have before actual purchase via a 'configuration select box' which is common on many pre-built PC sites.
Best.
