Why. So you can cheat and give yourself a better score?
ps...Im not talking about the game editor by the way.
pps I have never changed a score of my own either - not that sad
I just like to see how well I do according to the game. Just driving around on regular scenario once in a while is fun, but gets kind of boring for me. I like to try to challenge myself.
But the scoring system is so terrible in many cases where it actively encourages you to break rules in order to get a higher score.
The last career scenario I played on London to Brighton was expecting me to drive at line speed under single caution's. In fact when I arrived at the next station stop I was punished for slowing to 40 MPH, something you'd be required to do IRL to ensure you don't fly though a Danger and crash.
I guess you could say the scoring system is too "Arcade" to be realistic enough for me. Most of the time these days I spend playing quick drive scenarios, most of which I've made myself, where I can just pick the stock I want to use and go out for a drive with reasonably realistic traffic levels.
