Best value UK addon?

With the Steam sale coming up, I want to buy some DLC but also want to get something great with lots of valule. I'm into anything really as long as its quality. I also like the advanced stuff, such as the Class 40 but also into high speed modern (wish the 222 was on Steam). I have South London and the East Coast Main LIne. It would be nice to build on that... love to get some ideas from you guys.

DTG offers UK first class collection which contains Riviera in Fifties, London to Bedford and GEML. If it will be in decent sale it is must buy. (you can find it in main page of train simulator)

Personally theyre all good value, I look at what they cost and compare how much id spend on a night out and the DLC comes in way cheaper lol. But for me the one I love at the moment is the South Wales Coastal and add on pack. PDL and London to Brighton. Non Steam DLC that worth every penny is JT Western Mainlines and AP Wherry Lines.

This is only £25, if it goes on sale, its a steal.. Im keeping my I on it just incase.
£65 for ech individually but all for £25 in that pack, I doubt it will go onsale as its a bargain at that price, but you never know

You want REAL value? Get this,
Its a shame they were mean and only took 20% off but its over 100 miles of fantastic route combining freight, high speed passenger and suburban workings as well as the simply wonderfull class 86. Nothing beats this for value.

Every bit of DLC is good value, I think the most expensive is ony $39.99 full value, and whats $40 these days. The SWC may be short but it looks good and runs perfect. It would have been nice to see it go all the way to Swansea.

Thanks guys - this is awesome! What do you think of the Class 90 Mk3? It seems to come with scenery in some cases.

The class 90 is a superb addon and essential if you want to get the Great Eastern line. Doesnt come with any scenery though, no trains do.

I dont care how good something looks, 39 miles that stops half way is not something i'd call good value and thats what the OP asked for.

God are you on about this again? The Wherry lines is VERY WELL DONE with new features and a total rework of the class 37 along with a brand new soundpack that youd normaly have to pay an extra £5 for at least. There is no comparison with the lazy POS that the S Wales is in comparison. I wish you would STOP trying to pick an argument at every turn, the guy asked for GOOD VALUE and the suggestion I gave was valid. We are also talking about the STEAM SALE you idiot, Armstrong Powerhouse isnt even in it!!! Its like you saying that Rolls Royce make crap cars because they cost more than a Ford! So what if the Wherry lines costs more, A, its good quality and clearly an enthusiast built route, rather than a lazy cash grab by a company that doesnt care and B, has NOTHING to do with the fact I recommended a DTG route that goes to Glasgow!!!!

This is a discussion about good value DTG ROUTES in the STEAM SALE

I never even MENTIONED the chatham route here, WHERE did I mention it? I dont care if the Wherry lines costs £60, I LIKE IT, THATS MY CHOICE.

Just like If I want to buy a bottle of wine for £40 when some would argue a £5 bottle tastes the same, SO WHAT? Who the hell are you to judge?
