Yes I have with 1000 points. Before you start use the F& and F7 and F8 keys to locate your freight cars or hit the Pause/Break key and use the world button to search. Write down where the cars that you need to move are. You need to couple to the sets of cars you need to put on Provo yard 8 then pull forward and back into the caboose on Provo yard 9.

I did all that, I moved the gondolas and box cars and put them on a empty track then coupled all the coal cars and backed up on track 008 and nothing was checked on the work sheet, pull over to 9 and hooked up the caboose then went to track 30, no points were awarded. I did this twice, even putting the extra stock on a different empty track. Could it be that the extra stock needs to be the problem ?

Finally got to this wonderful route and this confusing scenario. Minutes earlier, I ended it with 1,000 points and a corresponding achievement.

I confirm the annoying bug with the coupling of the cars. I solved it with a repeating — pull forward, slow down, pull back. The contact speed at which it was possible to couple most often is 2-2.5 mph.

There is absolutely no need to keep order. All cars on my consist were shuffled.

It so happened that I assembled the whole 21-car consist on the 7th track, but not on the 8th. After that I moved it to the 8th. Then uncoupled all the cars from the locos. And after that the first task has been marked completed.

Leaving the cars, I went to the track 9 and attached the caboose. With the caboose, I drove back to track 8 and coupled the rest of the cars. Moved the entire consist to track 30. Then uncoupled all 22 cars, including the caboose. The end.

I usually couple at 1.7 mph give or take a few. I could slam them at 10 but thats abusive. A few couplings I'll kiss it at 0.4 mph. But thats iffy. The stock being coupled does not even know its coupled.

I'll run down towards the cars to be coupled at any old speed. At about 4 car lengths I need to be under 5 mph. And be at 2 by the time the stock bounces alive on its track. You will see it bounce every so little bit as it is awake for the coupling.

This does not always come out right in English, but its all tied up anyway.

There's an issue with the 100t car. Its coupling pivots are inside of its collision box. I have patched this one, the issues are no longer appearing then.

adjusted
Front/RearPivotX to 8.3185
Front/RearCouplingPivotX to 7.5684

so that the collision box edge is +- 0.375 away from Pivot / CouplingPivot

Bumping an old thread that is still relevant (because it's about an issue that has not been adressed by DTG) is not considered necroing.

Its ok.

Most games the Devs fix stuff. Keep the gamers happy. Paying customers that is.

This is one of the very few games that appears to have issues going back a decade in some cases unfixed. Its almost the Devs cannot give two ♥♥♥♥♥.

Fine whatever. I quit worrying about that years ago.
