No I don't believe it's TS2017 the cause of problems here. The 'new' version of the game (with the exception of some minor cosmetic tweaks to menus & different intro video) is essentially TS2016, with simply 4-5 new routes included for those that didn't already have them. There's nothing that has been changed that would affect performance. Certainly for myself and other close friends the new version is running very well.
However, if you're having problems specifically with the NJCL route, then that's quite common for many players. Graphically it's an extremely demanding route on most player's PC hardware; and is known for its slow frame rates. Quite a lot of players have problems with FPS and lag playing this particular route, when the majority of their other routes may be fine. I also had problems with this one until I upgraded to a Titan X 12GB graphics card! I can only suggest when playing this particular route you turn down some of your game's advanced graphical settings. Lowering shadows by at least half, and also reducing AA are quite likely to give you a signficant improvement in FPS for the route; at least to the extent where its playable, even if a bit slow. Good luck. All the best.
Honestly, even my 9 year old grand-daughter figured it out!
In fact I hope so; otherwise the world must really be getting less and less intelligent by the day
Very odd decision by nVidia to give them the same name. Titan -> Titan Black / Titan Z -> Titan X -> Titan X... Non sequitur. Your facts are uncoordinated
P.S.: yes I know the Maxwell was 'Geforce GTX Titan X', and Pascal is just 'Titan X', but still!
Then using them on a cpu capped route can bring fps down into the mid 40's with all the same maxed out settings, thats using 1 or 2 1080's. Even if i lower the AA on these cpu capped routes i still get in the mid 40's
