Mike Simpson's Final Update to TS Tools
As you may have read in other forums, Mike Simpson has reluctantly decided to step back from any further development of his very useful utility TS Tools (formerly RW tools). He explained the decision was made because of age and health issues. I am sure we all wish him well, and thank him for all he has done for the community.

He has very helpfully uploaded a copy of his most recent version of TS Tools, which you can download from dropbox at the following link:

or you can also download it from here, where the link mentions Copyright 2008-22 by Mike Simpson:

Always appreciated the tool and still finding new ways to use it. Hoping retirement treats him well.
Best wishes to all.

Yep, I have made considerable use of TS / RW tools over a number of years, and continue to do so. I did read somewhere a few years ago, that Mike was in his 80's now. Many, many thanks Mike. Time to put your feet up and have a well earned rest. All the best matey.

Yes. I have just paid a visit to Alan Thomson Simulation - and there it is. A complete description of TS Tools together with a direct download.

No mention of Mike Simpson anywhere to be seen there, but of course his name is in the readme.txt which comes with the download. But it is a shame that he isn't credited by the site. Obviously an oversight which I hope will be put right very soon.

According to the "About" section of TS Tools, the FreeWare program may be hosted on any site as long as copyright is included. That would mean stating:

Copyright 2008-22 by Mike Simpson.

Followup .exe fails to install, does no inherit Admin. privileges. Cannot run separately cause it is hidden/embedded in the original install file. Tool then says "bad picture" or the likes when run.

Maybe he'll make it open source (whatever the term is) and allow some next gen developers have a try at it.
